It’s February! Am I the only person who is amazed each year that the shortest month somehow feels like the longest?! Although what is time these days, really?
We have been busy over here in Fionta Pardot-land kicking off several new projects and helping clients launch their Pardot instance. It’s always exciting to have projects in various stages of development. We just published a new case study featuring Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) following a Salesforce and Pardot implementation in 2020.
Stay warm and healthy my friends!

PARDOT SPRING ’21 RELEASE: Release Webinar
Depending on your organization’s Salesforce instance, you may already have Pardot Spring ‘21 installed. Fíonta’s magic date is this Friday and I’m excited to get under the hood and explore new areas of functionality. Next month’s email will feature a Spring ‘21 blog. In the meantime, you may find the Pardot product team’s release webinar interesting. Some of the updates I’m excited about are enhancements to the new Email Builder, bringing it closer to the tool that my clients need and the ability to clone Campaigns with existing assets. This is going to be a big time saver.
BLOG: Supercharging Forms with JavaScript
In this blog, we cover how we helped a client turn 40 possible forms into just one by injecting JavaScript into the Pardot form for some pretty awesome dynamic results!
RESOURCE: Making the Switch to Salesforce Single Sign-One (Time-sensitive)
From Pardot: Starting on Monday (2/15), all “Pardot-Only” customers must log in to the product using Salesforce SSO. This change requires Pardot and Salesforce admins to work together to connect all Pardot users to a Salesforce user.
What this means for system access: If you’re logging in to Pardot Classic via pi.pardot.com, you must enable Salesforce SSO. Pardot-Only customers won’t be able to log in with Pardot credentials after Feb. 15 until they update their authentication method to SSO.
Contact us if you have questions or need any assistance switching your Pardot Users over to a Salesforce identity user license.
EVENT: 5 Ways to Fuel Your Data Driven Marketing Strategy
Starting on Monday, the American Marketing Association (AMA) is hosting a weeklong series of microlearning – fill up that coffee cup for the second time perhaps and join a group of marketing specialists for these 10-minute sessions. One registration covers all five days and each session begins at 9am PT / 12pm ET.
Monday: How to collect, what to collect
Tuesday: Data security
Wednesday: Marketing Automation
Thursday: Customer Data
Friday: Optimization
WEBINAR: Reclaiming Opt-Outs and Unsubscribes
Also from the AMA, this webinar on 2/23 at 10am PT / 2pm ET is all about how to plan and run a successful resubscription campaign. From messaging and tone to ensuring you’re acting within privacy and CAN-SPAM regulations, this looks like a superb learning opportunity.
WEBINAR ON-DEMAND: Managing Member Renewal with Pardot’s Engagement Studio
I had so much fun demoing a member renewal-focused Engagement Path to a (virtual) roomful of ASAE members in late January. The recorded presentation has been made available by ASAE on YouTube (30 minutes).
