Supporting HBCU Students with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack
Founded in 1987 and named for the U.S. Supreme Court’s first African-American justice, Thurgood Marshall, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) provides students with the opportunities and tools necessary to achieve success in their journeys to college and into their careers. TMCF is the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community.
Fíonta and TMCF worked closely to customize NPSP, integrate powerful third-party Apps, including Apsona for data deduplication, MobileCause and Double the Donation, and curated reports and dashboards to surface fundraising metrics.

Salesforce for Associations: On-Demand Webinar
More than ever before, associations are being challenged to do things differently. Changing demographics, competing forces, the ongoing public health crisis, and a change in the way members expect benefits and services to be delivered are all creating pressure on association leadership and staff to retain and gain members.
This on-demand webinar provides an overview of commercial AMSs built on Salesforce, a custom solution built on native Salesforce, and the associated Apps that can help you best meet your members’ needs.

Sharing Stories Throughout Black History Month
Every day this month, Fíontan Cody Hamilton, has been sharing biographies, articles, and history in Slack to honor and celebrate Black achievements and stories. From recognizable names like Harriet Tubman and the Tuskeegee Airmen to lesser-known stories like “Was the real Lone Ranger a Black man?”, there is something to learn in every link. Please share and amplify these resources with your network!

Salesforce Multi-Factor Authentication is Now Required
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, on February 1, 2022, Salesforce required clients to use multifactor authentication (MFA) to access Salesforce products. MFA is an effective way to increase protection for user accounts, and if your organization still needs to enable MFA, we encourage you to:
Review our blog post that outlines the set-up process and work with your Salesforce administrator to implement this internally.
Schedule a billable meeting with your technical lead at Fíonta or reach out via our Contact form. Our services will include:
- A 1:1 meeting with the technical lead.
- Automated analysis of your profile permissions.
- Two to three hours of configurations.
You will also receive a document outlining the plan with the next steps for your end users. Finally, you will have the peace of mind that we will handle any issues that may arise with any integrations you have and a path forward.
