The Fíonta Note – January 2022

IMPORTANT! Multi-factor Authentication Enablement (MFA) Compliance Date

It’s time to take the next step on securing your Salesforce data. We’ve been updating you regularly on the February 1st date, which is now right around the corner. If you have not enabled MFA yet, you will be out of compliance with your contract with Salesforce, and there may be legal implications for your use of the system. Please check with your legal department about any consequences for your organization. If you’re working with us, reach out to your project manager to get connected with your tech lead to discuss enablement support options.

Expanding Service Offerings Through Strategic Partnerships

Offprem Technology
Fíonta and Offprem Technology, a Salesforce Premium Partner specializing in Marketing Cloud implementations, have announced a partnership to deliver comprehensive member and donor engagement solutions on the Salesforce platform.

“Offprem is a best-in-class provider of marketing solutions for Salesforce and we’re excited to formalize our partnership with them,” says Fíonta CEO Mark Patterson. “Their depth of experience and expertise in Marketing Cloud and related solutions will directly benefit our clients that have sophisticated marketing automation needs.”

FormAssembly
Fíonta and FormAssembly came together in service of Otto Bremer Trust, a charitable foundation located in St. Paul, MN and investing in people, places, and opportunities in the Upper Midwest.

We used FormAssembly to enrich their legacy foundationConnect experience, guiding applicants to answer just the questions needed and to ensure that each application is routed to the optimal review process. With the seamless Salesforce integration and FormAssembly’s conditional question capabilities, the burden of grantmaking has been lessened for both applicant and staff.

In this short video, hear from team members from both companies talk about how Fíonta, FormAssembly, and Salesforce support the important work at Otto Bremer Trust.

Supporting post 9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families through long-term programs

The Travis Mills Foundation supports post 9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families through long-term programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical obstacles, strengthen their families, and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation. Veterans who have been injured in active duty or as a result of their service to our nation receive an all-inclusive, all-expenses-paid, barrier-free vacation for themselves and their families where they can participate in adaptive activities, bond with other veteran families, and enjoy Maine’s outdoors.

We implemented the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Volunteers for Salesforce (V4S) as the basis of an expandable and affordable solution, as well as third-party Apps including FormAssembly giving the Foundation a 360-degree view of every supporter.

Webinar: Salesforce for Associations

February 3, 10am PT / 1pm ET (1.5 hours)
More than ever before, associations are being challenged to do things differently. Changing demographics, competing forces, the ongoing public health crisis, and a change in the way members expect benefits and services to be delivered are all creating pressure on association leadership and staff to retain and gain members.

In this session hosted by U.S. Transactions Corp, we’ll provide an overview of commercial AMSs built on Salesforce, a custom solution built on native Salesforce, and the associated Apps that can help you best meet your members’ needs. We’ll talk about what to look for in an implementation partner for a Salesforce solution and running a successful procurement process and we’ll discuss how you can prepare to move from a legacy system and how to set expectations with your team.

1.5 CPE/CAE credits are available for attendance and participation in this session.

On-Demand Webinar: Saying Goodbye to Raiser’s Edge

In this 30-minute, on-demand webinar, we discuss the opportunities that Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) presents for organizations currently on Raiser’s Edge, provide a high-level overview of the phases of work required to implement Salesforce successfully, and give you some next steps to help your organization analyze options and plan for the change. Nonprofits already using NPSP will find the presentation a useful overview of out-of-the-box functionality and reporting to support development teams.
