It’s hard to believe that the year (and summer) is more than half over. Summer heat hasn’t slowed us down though – it’s been a busy month of meaningful Salesforce and web launches, new hires (we have other open positions, too!), and planning for Dreamforce and other upcoming conferences. Don’t worry, we’ve snuck in some time for employee vacations as well! Check out what we’ve been up to below.
What is Pardot?
If you’re a current Salesforce user, you may be hearing a lot about Pardot these days. Perhaps you are using MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, or Constant Contact to send mass emails. If you happen to be using both Salesforce and an email tool, then you’re going to be especially excited to learn about Pardot!
30,000 foot view…use data that you have, and will gain, to segment and personalize email communications and supporter journeys. Lead users down a path towards a goal and understand their engagement at every step. Measure and report on campaign successes and iterate towards improvement for initiatives that did not deliver as hoped.

Creating more effective, efficient, and equitable education policies
Design Methods for Education Policy is a policy toolkit for Bellwether Education Partners, a national nonprofit focused on changing education and life outcomes for underserved children through policy and practice. A Drupal 8 website, this tool provides curated human-centered research and design methods for education policy professionals.

Transitioning from homelessness to employment
The Association of Community Employment Programs for Homeless (ACE New York) provides job training, work experience and a lifetime support network for homeless men and women to help them achieve their goals and establish economic independence. Fionta and ACE NY worked together closely to migrate from Raiser’s Edge to Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and train staff on their new system.

What we did on our summer vacation…
Working hard and delighting our clients is what drives Fíontans and a key part of our company culture. Enjoying our time outside of work is another, and wow, do our employees do cool things! From traveling through Croatia and Slovenia, Glacier National Park, Estes Park, Banff (newsflash, we love the great outdoors), to pirate camping and learning how to sail in the Pacific, we make the most of our time off.
