Introducing Mark Patterson, Fíonta CEO
Fíonta could not be more pleased to introduce our new CEO! Mark Patterson comes to Fíonta from nearly 10 years at Aptify, a leading provider of association management systems for large membership organizations, where he was responsible for running the day-to-day business as chief operating officer. With a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and over 25 years of experience in technology, Mark is a natural fit during a period of strategic growth. He is a hands-on CEO and looks forward to meeting our many wonderful clients.
Fíonta’s co-founder and CEO for 17 years, Lisa Rau, will stay with the company as executive chairman and will continue to lead the company’s business development team.

If you remember one thing about what GDPR means, it’s this: Consent must be “freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous.” In addition to consulting services , we’ve put together a list of helpful resources about GDPR.
Empowering low-literacy and immigrant adults to participate more fully and confidently in their communities.
The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia (LCNV), provides low-cost English language and literacy classes and prepares students for workforce entry through classroom, small group, and tutorial instruction.
LCNV relied on an outdated Microsoft Access database with serious limitations. Duplicate entries and manual tracking kept staff and volunteers busy with inefficient tasks, and siloed systems meant that a 360-degree view of supporters was a challenge.
Fíonta utilized Salesforce.org Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA) and elements of the Nonprofit Success Pack and helped LCNV say goodbye to both paper and onerous data entry and reporting tasks.
