Lisa Wallace

VP, Business Development / Artificial Intelligence Strategist

Lisa came to Fíonta by way of, where she worked as a Senior Account Executive to nonprofit accounts, including associations and foundations. She takes great pride in developing creative solutions for big problems through information systems planning.

After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Lisa started her career as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. During that time, she came face-to-face with big social and economic issues affecting global security and human welfare. As a result, she dedicated her life to creating impact and reforming broken systems.

During her early career in nonprofit technology sales, Lisa studied nonprofit and public management at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, where she focused on public policy and digital transformation. It was there that she became even more passionate about the power of harnessing information systems for impact and the role of social enterprise in driving innovation in the nonprofit and government sectors.

During graduate school, Lisa leveraged her prior experience conducting performance assessments of algorithmic forecast models to conduct advanced systems analysis through multivariate polynomial optimization and regression statistics.  This was applied, in part, to research on the public healthcare policy implications of bilateral national agreements regarding citizen migration.

Following graduate school, Lisa established a consulting business in public relations and social impact strategy, where she supported nonprofits, corporate social responsibility, and social enterprise. She also founded and acted as the Director of Strategy for an international public health organization before being called to join the team supporting nonprofits.

Lisa is most passionate about the possibilities and implications surrounding big data, data science and artificial intelligence for purpose-driven organizations. She is the proud mother of three little ones and travels the globe in support of her husband’s military service. She used to love reading and running when she had free time, which she hopes to have back some day. She actively volunteers as an academic tutor in local schools wherever she moves and loves to plug into her customers’ missions whenever possible.
