Optimizing Data for Greater Impact

Miriam’s Kitchen (MK) is a Washington, DC–based nonprofit working to end chronic homelessness through a combination of advocacy and direct services. Known for its dignity-first approach, MK supports individuals with housing, health care, and connection to community resources, while advocating for systemic change in homelessness policy. The organization engages a diverse network of supporters, including donors, volunteers, and policymakers. MK partnered with Fíonta for a strategic technology consultation focused on maximizing value from its Salesforce ecosystem. The engagement began with a high-level assessment and evolved into a phased implementation roadmap. Fíonta provided comprehensive diagnostics, strategic recommendations, and managed services to modernize Salesforce, streamline operations, and support internal capacity-building.

Driving Transparency Through Real-Time Grants Access

The Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) is the largest nonprofit funder of melanoma research, committed to accelerating scientific breakthroughs through global grantmaking. With over $175 million awarded to date, MRA plays a pivotal role in the scientific community’s understanding of melanoma prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. As part of a broader digital modernization effort, MRA aimed to make its portfolio of funded research projects more accessible and up-to-date for researchers, donors, and the public. Fíonta partnered with MRA to replace its outdated batch-sync grants display with a real-time Salesforce integration, fully embedded into the organization’s redesigned Webflow website. The result is a dynamic, user-friendly resource reinforcing MRA’s commitment to transparency and impact.

Streamlining Program Management

World Impact empowers urban leaders through accessible, relational, and biblically faithful training programs in theological education, leadership development, and prison ministry. The organization partners with local churches and ministries to advance spiritual transformation and foster community flourishing in areas affected by poverty. Its core programs include Church-Based Seminary, Urban Church Planting & Revitalization, Trauma Healing, and Prison Ministry. World Impact serves under-resourced communities and correctional facilities across the U.S. and internationally. World Impact transitioned from SmartSheets to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) to better manage its seminary program workflows. Fíonta implemented a centralized solution for the Church-Based Seminary (CBS) pilot, creating a scalable model for program management. The system now supports partner site applications, student tracking, and reporting on course completions, reducing manual tasks and improving visibility across teams.

This is the second project we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Fíonta. The most recent was for our migration to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud from NPSP, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the outset, Fíonta dedicated time to thoroughly understand our business processes, not only ensuring that Salesforce supported our existing workflows but also identifying areas for improvement and guiding us through necessary changes.
