Modernizing Grant Management and Impact Reporting

Family League of Baltimore is a nonprofit intermediary organization that supports the well-being of children and families in Baltimore through strategic investments in education, youth development, and family support services. By partnering with local organizations, Family League helps deliver impactful programs that create lasting change in underserved communities. When Family League sought to modernize its grant management and reporting systems, it turned to Fíonta for support. A previous discovery phase with a Salesforce partner had produced a multi-tabbed spreadsheet of general recommendations. While helpful as a starting point, the document lacked the specificity and alignment needed to move forward. Fíonta stepped in to clarify priorities, align technology with operations, and implement a solution designed to evolve with the organization.

Its mission is to promote early diagnosis, better treatments, and an improved quality of life for those affected by vasculitis. Salesforce plays a key role in advancing that mission, helping the Foundation create a complete view of constituents, including donors, patients, and event participants.

Supporting Immigrants Rising Through a Pivotal Transition

Helping a mission-driven organization prepare for independence with a sustainable grants management solution Immigrants Rising empowers undocumented young people in the United States to achieve educational and career goals through personal, institutional, and policy transformation. In 2024, the organization began transitioning from being a fiscally-sponsored project of Community Initiatives to becoming an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This transition required Immigrants Rising to build internal systems and processes that its fiscal sponsor had previously managed. One critical area of focus was inbound grant tracking, which had been handled entirely in Excel spreadsheets and now needed to be centralized, reportable, and scalable.

A lot of implementation partners don't act as true "partners" but Fíonta absolutely did! We felt like true partners throughout the project and as a result, our transition to Pardot was smooth and our team felt ready to jump right into the product without any hitches from the implementation. A breath of fresh air for our organization! The Chicago Council on Global Affairs

Fíonta’s Managed Services (Accent) team has been a very helpful resource for our small association. Our ongoing arrangement with Accent has allowed us to establish a productive cadence to address small configuration changes with their support. While having continuous conversations to make sure we’re keeping an eye on long-term needs, the flexibility to engage with the broader Fíonta team when we need support to complete more resource-intensive projects. I have worked with Fíonta for close to a decade. Each team member I have interacted with is knowledgeable, an expert, and patient. Most importantly, they work to understand our mission, vision, and programming needs. I admire how everyone we have ever worked with strives to understand our organization, what we do, and what we provide, and helps us find solutions that fit our budget.
