We are delighted to announce that Fíonta and Temple Sinai Atlanta have been awarded four Silver Awards at the 2025 Davey Awards for the redesign and development of the Temple Sinai Atlanta website. The project earned recognition in the following categories:
- Features – Best Visual Appeal – Utility (Silver)
- Features – Website Redesign (Silver)
- Features – Best User Experience (Silver)
- General – Religion & Spirituality (Silver)

Why This Matters
The Davey Awards are a global competition that honors outstanding creative work from small agencies, independent teams, and in‑house groups. They celebrate “big ideas that come to life without big budgets.” For Fíonta and Temple Sinai Atlanta, this recognition underscores the value of thoughtful design, a meaningful user experience, and a mission-driven digital strategy.
Key Highlights of the Work
Visual Design
We approached the redesign with a fresh visual identity that reflects Temple Sinai Atlanta’s spirit and values. Thoughtful use of imagery, color, typography, and whitespace supports readability and evokes a sense of community. The Silver Award in “Best Visual Appeal – Utility” acknowledges the aesthetic and functional balance achieved.
User Experience
The site was rebuilt with a clear information architecture, intuitive navigation, mobile‑first responsiveness, and accessibility best practices. These user‑experience improvements were recognised in the Best User Experience award category.
Website Redesign
Rather than a superficial refresh, the project involved a full rebuild, including strategic planning, UX prototyping, CMS architecture selection (WordPress), front-end development, content migration, and training. Earning the Website Redesign category award highlights that full‑cycle transformation.
Mission‑Aligned Sector Recognition
Winning in the “Religion & Spirituality” category underscores that this was not just a generic website project. It was built to support a faith-based community, focusing on storytelling, member engagement, educational programming, and institutional identity.
Reflections on the Collaboration
We delivered a digital platform that helps strengthen community connections, supports staff workflows, and positions the congregation for future growth and success. The awards affirm that the work was both creative and effective.
We’re grateful to the Temple Sinai Atlanta leadership for their trust, to our internal team for their rigorous execution, and to the Davey Awards jury for recognizing our shared efforts.
What Comes Next
With this strong foundation in place, Temple Sinai Atlanta is well-positioned to amplify its digital presence, leveraging the site for program registration, member communications, content publishing, and data-informed decisions.
