All About...Salesforce: January 2022

Hello and greetings from Upstate New York. We survived the mega-storm on Sunday and Monday, but just as I began to write this email, we lost power…a small price to pay for a blanket of snow in what has been a disappointing winter accumulation-wise. I hope everyone impacted by the storm is safe and doing well. We returned from two weeks in Kenya which was truly amazing, and we safely traveled there and back to celebrate my father-in-law’s 81st birthday with the Maasai tribe at the equator. Now that I’m settled, I’m turning my attention to 2022 with a handful of essential updates and upcoming Salesforce-focused webinars.

IMPORTANT! Multi-factor authentication enablement (MFA) date

We’ve been updating you regularly on the February 1st date, which is now right around the corner. If you have not enabled MFA yet, you will not comply with your contract with Salesforce, and there may be legal implications for your use of the system. Please check with your legal department about any consequences for your organization. We will be reaching out to you if you have an active contract with us and are here to support you around enablement and necessary communications.

Additionally, if you are using a named user for any integrations with Salesforce, your integration will be interrupted. Salesforce will not auto-enable this on February 1st, but you must get a jump on this. Please be mindful of the pending date and reach out if you have concerns about the impact.
