All About...Salesforce: April 2023

Time flies, doesn’t it? It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the end of April. And speaking of surprises, upstate New York seems to be experiencing some weather confusion – I don’t think it knows what month it is either! It’s not keeping me from making summer plans with my family, and I’m excited to dive into my son’s first season of backyard BBQs, river swims, and fireflies.

In this month’s email, I’ll share a recent blog post about measuring the ROI of your Salesforce implementation, the differences between Tableau and Salesforce CRM Analytics, and a special announcement about the new tool everyone is talking about, ChatGPT. Plus, stay tuned for upcoming events that you won’t want to miss!

See you in May!

BLOG: Six ways to measure the success of a Salesforce implementation

If you are using Salesforce as your CRM, it is essential to measure the effectiveness of your investment to ensure you are achieving your goals. In this blog post, we will explore six key metrics that organizations should track to gauge the success of their Salesforce implementation.

BLOG: Tableau and Salesforce CRM Analytics: A comparison for nonprofits

Curious, or maybe confused about the difference between Tableau and Salesforce CRM Analytics? We break it down in this blog and compare the data integration capabilities of both tools.

TL;DR – Tableau is a user-friendly data visualization and analytics tool that allows organizations to create customizable dashboards and visualizations. Salesforce CRM Analytics is a platform designed to work with CRM data and provides advanced analysis and machine learning capabilities to help organizations understand their supporters.

RESOURCE: What does ChatGPT mean for the Salesforce ecosystem?

Salesforce has recently announced the development of Einstein GPT, in collaboration with OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT. This AI model is designed to seamlessly integrate with Salesforce, enabling users to input prompts in natural language. With Einstein GPT, Salesforce users can create validation rules, formulas, and even Lightning Web Components. In this blog post, Salesforce Ben delves into the pros and cons, as well as possible use cases and limitations. And Diginomica summarizes Einstein GPT as described by Parker Harris at Salesforce World Tour DC last week.
