Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I have much on my mind. I’m thankful for this opportunity for conversation and to have worked on many meaningful projects this year. Between now and the end of the year we will see family members possibly for the first time since COVID began. Please be safe and smart and make sure you follow CDC COVID guidelines.

SALESFORCE RELEASE: Spring ’21
With the holidays approaching, that means that the next Salesforce Release, Spring ‘21, will soon be upon us. Dates to remember for this release are January 16th, February 6th, 12th, and 13th. Please work with your system administrator and check Salesforce Trust to see which date your instance will be updated on. Spring release notes will be posted on December 21st at Salesforce Help.
SANDBOX UPGRADE: Preview windows
Salesforce also has two preview windows in which your Sandboxes will be upgraded. This is a critical time to go into your Sandbox and test your business processes to ensure they play nicely with the new release. We are able to manage or support testing if desired and we want to ensure that you are prepared for this and every release. The first sandbox upgrade will happen on January 8th.
DREAMFORCE TO YOU: No travel required!
This year’s annual Salesforce in-person blowout conference is going virtual! Dubbed Dreamforce to You 2020, this is a new format for Salesforce and makes the conference more approachable (it’s free!) and you can tune in right from your home office or wherever you may be. The keynote is Wednesday, December 2, at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Registration is required.
Salesforce does a great job every year with Dreamforce and this year, while different, still promises to be an event that shouldn’t be missed by any Salesforce customer or prospective partner. It’s a great way to see what’s on Salesforce’s roadmap, and partners and ISVs will surely be publishing ways you can engage with them during this time. Sign up and make sure you get your agenda squared away. Even if you are not the Salesforce technical person at your organization, take a look at what is being offered and plug in.
As always, reach out to us with any questions!
