Week four closed out Fíonta’s NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud webinar series with a look toward the future: artificial intelligence and long-term platform support. Fíonta’s managed services and AI lead, Arden Winter, opened with a candid discussion of how attendees are already using AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT for everyday tasks, then walked through where AI risk shows up most, including hallucinated responses, magnified bias in donor data, and data privacy exposure when proprietary information is fed into third-party models.
From there, the session turned to Salesforce’s Agent Force suite and how it applies specifically to Nonprofit Cloud: purpose-built agents with pre-configured topics and actions scoped to NPC’s data model, Model Builder for donor and opportunity predictive modeling, and Agent Force for Employees, aimed at the “accidental admins” many nonprofits rely on to run their Salesforce org. Arden recommended a deliberate crawl-walk-run approach to AI adoption, starting with piloting tools with a small group before an org-wide rollout and setting clear acceptable-use policies.
The session closed with a case for ongoing managed services, since NPC is new for every organization moving to it, and Salesforce ships new features multiple times a year, making a dedicated internal admin or external partner valuable for staying current. Fíonta wrapped up the four-week series by offering attendees a personal consultation to review their systems and integration worksheet, and to map out a migration roadmap.
