California Land Stewardship Institute
The California Land Stewardship Institute (CLSI) is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices across California. Through its Fish Friendly Farming and Climate certification programs, CLSI works directly with growers, from vineyard managers to farm operators, to help their practices meet state compliance standards and support the health of California’s waterways and ecosystems. With a lean staff of about seven managing certification work across growers who may oversee anywhere from one to dozens of sites, CLSI needed a partner who could simplify complex processes and build a system to support long-term growth.
